Tijmen Martens

‘My grandfather worked as a lawyer back in the 1930s. Since 1999, I am proud to follow in his footsteps, with a passion for employment law and everything related to it. I am a problem solver and committed to my clients with everything I have. To the point, with humor and, above all, with decisiveness. Over the years, I have gained experience in, among other things, the issue of transfer of undertaking, the position of the managing director under the articles of association and issues related to non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. In addition, I also deal with (employment) law issues that arise within the world of sport. The essence of our profession is to steer matters in the right direction, to make things run smoothly and not to lose sight of the human dimension. Over the years, I have therefore built a good relationship with my clients.  For all these reasons, I greatly enjoy working in this profession every day; just like my grandfather did.’
