Pauline Sick

Lawyer / managing partner

'I want to work together to further strengthen and expand our unique position in the employment law practice.'

‘I have been a lawyer since 1997 and joined Boontje in 2009. As a lawyer, I specialise in collective bargaining agreements and flexible employment relationships. As a managing partner, I want to work together with the whole team of Boontje to further strengthen and expand our firm and the unique position we occupy in the employment law practice. In doing so, we are guided by the cultural compass developed by Boontje itself. We consider ourselves an experienced, reliable partner for our clients, a committed and strong team  that wants to be and remain distinctive as a firm. Our Employment Law Plus formula is a good example of this distinctive nature. In addition to their broad general knowledge of employment law, our lawyers have gained in-depth expertise in one or more sub-areas of employment law as part of that formula.’

Integrity, balance and reliability – that is Pauline to a tee. As a professional and as a person. She focuses strongly on content and knows how to establish long-term relations with her clients. She keeps a healthy professional distance while at the same time demonstrating her personal and social commitment. Pauline is pragmatic and follows both a situation-oriented and a solution-oriented approach. Pauline has been ranked by Chambers and Partners. In addition to her work as a lawyer and managing partner, she also works as a deputy judge at the Court of Appeal in The Hague. If Pauline has any spare time in her busy schedule, she enjoys art and culture.
