Stefan van der Veen

‘Before I started as a lawyer, I worked as a court clerk. A nice and inspiring time, where I worked at the other side of the table. The knowledge and experience I gained then have proven very useful in my work as a lawyer. Usually, I understand how judges form judgements. Nonetheless I have experienced that being a lawyer suits me better. I do not only look at a case from a legal point of view, but from a much broader perspective. As far as I’m concerned, that makes for wider, more creative and sharper advice that contributes to long lasting solutions. That is also what I like doing: looking for sustainable and lasting solutions so that both employers and employees can once again fully focus on their own role and work. I am also particularly interested in thinking about a work culture in which employees can get the most out of themselves.’

Stefan operates strategically in his work, without losing sight of the interests of all parties involved. Stefan has an open relationship with his clients, advises clearly on goals and strategies, and has a healthy sense of humour. In his spare time, Stefan likes to cook and he much appreciates modern art and design.
